Retaining Walls, Paver Patios & Pathways – Adds Texture and a Place to Relax During a Denver Rain

Paver patios are a great addition to any landscape & garden area in Denver.  An existing stoop or concrete patio can be matched to be the same level and expand your entertainment areas.  Paver patios can be made of recycled materials reclaimed from demolition of old buildings & landscapes. Newly manufactured pavers are easier to install as they are inspected to meet a high quality standard.  The most important aspect to any paver patio or walkway in your landscape is not the choice selection of  pavers, but ensuring that the hardscape feature being installed in your landscape lasts to be enjoyed.  Some paver patios require retaining walls or a build up & compaction of soil to keep the paver patio in place in your landscape.  All paver patios, paver pathways & brick retaining walls should have the recommended base to prevent shifting of the patio from weather, weight, & time.

At A Better Garden we install paver patios, paver pathways & retaining walls the correct way.  Each paver patio & paver pathway has a base installed with a minimum of six (6) inches of roadbase compacted (with a plate compactor) in two (2) inch shelfs (layers).  In the case of brick & block retaining walls or paver patios which will be driven on this base is made to be a minimum of eight (8) inches for greater stability.  We know the value of a job done right and always give you A Better Garden.

There are many options of pavers, retaining wall bricks/blocks and recycled materials to give your Denver landscape the look you desire. Call (303) 433 – 3750 today to set up an appointment to transform your garden & landscape today!
